- LibreCommons - hosts curated Open Educational Resources from all 14 LibreTexts libraries in one convenient location
- Lumen Learning: Open Courseware - catalog of open courses developed and maintained by Lumen
- Lumen Community Courses - catalog of open courses developed by colleges and hosted by Lumen
- OpenStax College - develops and publishes peer-reviewed open textbooks, mainly for introductory courses
- OER Commons - database of OER, also a professional network and authoring platform
- Open Educational Resources (OER) Directory - organizes open resources by discipline
- Open Textbook Library - database of faculty-reviewed open textbooks from the Center for Open Education and the Open Textbook Network
- MERLOT - Multimedia Educational Resources for Learning and Online Teaching, offers peer reviewed online teaching and learning materials
- Oasis - Openly Available Sources Integrated Search (OASIS) is a search tool that aims to make the discovery of open content easier. OASIS currently searches open content from 114 different sources and contains 440,452 records.

- Noba Project - collection of flexibly structured textbooks and educational materials
- OER by Discipline - lists a broad range of open educational resources organized by disciplines at McMaster University
- Open Book Publishers - makes their books available for online reading at no cost, with charges for download or print options.
- Open Course Library - a collection of shareable course materials, including syllabi, course activities, readings, and assessments designed by teams of college faculty, instructional designers, librarians, and other experts
- Open Educational Resources in Economics - a handbook for Economics lecturers from the University of Bristol
- Open Learning Initiative - online courses from CMU
- Open Michigan – University of Michigan portal, contains many syllabi
